Thieves Ransack House, Steal Gun

Last Update: 10/06 11:28 am
DETROIT (WXYZ) - If the thieves who ransacked a house on Detroit's northwest side weren't armed before the break-in, they are now. A loaded gun is on the list of stolen items, along with a car and a new television set. But the missing gun is causing the most concern.

There is no question about how the suspects got inside the home but the victims want to know how the thieves knew what was inside and outside their home. A brand new flat screen TV is missing, along with a Jaguar XK8 that was parked in the backyard.

The robbery happened between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. when the victims were away at work.

Whoever broke in ransacked the house and took the TV, a laptop, some money, and jewelry. And, the robbers took the loaded gun and its case.
