You should all have decent sewers, but instead you want you support Monica Conyers so the Council can use the money for Cobo hall. There are more important place to put the money and one is police and city serwers that are old and falling apart. You should vote those five council member out of office - Conyers, Watson, Tinsley-Talabi, Reeves and Rose-Collins. Elect people that have some sense! It is a shame that you have to live like that with sewer water.

I hope this problem is solved. Much infrastructure such as water mains and sewers too need repair. I am tired of plugged sewers on many streets such as Conant south of E. McNichols and the same street, south of E.Davison, where water from rain does not go down the sewers which are plugged up with debris from ages past. These need to be blow-cleaned with whatever the tools are called for this purpose. In winter, the water freezes, causing icy roads. There are oh so many streets, both main roads and residential blocks plus alleys, all over Detroit with this problem. In my neighborhood, residents and businesses have called about a plugged alley sewer drain hundreds of times over the past thirty years to no avail. And yet, we have politicians in my city who want to use stimulus money to update Cobo when our sewers and water mains need updating and cleaning.

To the people that are affected by this go to your laughing stock of a "City Council" and see if they can really help you ,when these are the things they should be worrying about in the city!? Thinking of the people!
