Dearborn and Livonia police are asking for the public's help identifying a person of interest wanted for several home invasions and attempted invasions over the past year.

The video showed the suspect walking around a house but not attempting to enter. He appeared to notice that he was being watched, which may have scared him away.

Home surveillance cameras captured the suspect in action at about three o'clock in the morning on August 5th in Dearborn, but he may have also been active in Livonia. Both departments are working together to identify him, according to a statement.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the subject responsible for the invasions.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or call Dearborn police. All callers can remain anonymous.
