DETROIT (WXYZ) - Two men are facing murder charges in the deaths of two Westland teens in 2012.
Twenty-five-year-old Frederick Young’s arraignment in court today marks the final phase of an extensive investigation spanning nearly two years, piecing together the details of the shooting deaths of Westland teens Jacob Kudla and Jourdan Babbish.
Prosecutors allege Young, along with another man, Felando Hunter, robbed, tortured, imprisoned and killed both victims. The teens were visiting an uncle in Detroit when they went missing. Their bodies were later found decomposing in a nearby field.
The discovery shocked loved ones back in the summer of 2012. Now, after two years of investigations, Young and Hunter will have their days in court, as loved ones prepare to revisit the violence that ended these young lives.
