Metro Detroit community helps victims of deadly tornado in Moore, Oklahoma

(WXYZ) - The devastation in Oklahoma is staggering following the tornados that ripped through towns killing 24 people and injuring hundreds.


Moore, Oklahoma was hardest hit. Buildings, homes and schools were flattened.

The people affected need our help. Thanks to everyone who donated during our WXYZ and Red Cross telethon to help the victims.

We raised more than $63,000 on Wednesday.
