(WXYZ) - Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac will service approximately 400 meals today for Thanksgiving lunch and dinner to anyone in need.
They are stocked with over 400 lbs of turkey, 200 lbs of mashed potatoes, 200 lbs of sweet potatoes, 85 lbs of stuffing and 45 pumpkin pies.
Approximately, sixty volunteers from around metro Detroit will be serving meals throughout the day.
Lunch will be served at noon and dinner will be served at 5 p.m.
Visitors do not need to be enrolled in the nonprofit's Emergency Shelter, One Year Life Skills or After-Care Programs to participate.
Grace Centers of Hope is one of the oldest and largest nonprofit organizations for homeless and disadvantaged individuals and families in southeast Michigan.
In 2011, Grace Centers of Hope served more than 10,000 meals in November alone.
