Todd Courser to run for office after resigning
(WXYZ) - Todd Courser has officially filed to run for his former seat in the Michigan House of Representatives.
Courser told CNN Friday morning in a live interview that he planned to run again.
The ex-representative resigned after becoming embroiled in a sex scandal with fellow former Representative Cindy Gamrat.
They both were accused of misconduct and misusing public funds while in office.
Gamrat was expelled and Courser resigned last week.
Gamrat filed paperwork yesterday to run in a special election for her seat.
