The University of Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security say four students were robbed at their off-campus apartment on September 27.

Police say around 1 a.m., two men asked the victims if they could charge their phones before one of them pulled out a gun as they entered the apartment in the 400 block of North Thayer. The suspects then took smartphones and credit cards from the victims before leaving the scene, according to police.

We're told this is now an Ann Arbor police investigation.

No injuries were reported.
