(WXYZ) - A team of students at the University of Michigan created an ad for Detroit that is pretty impressive.
The ad was part of a semester-long project for a marketing class at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
Team members Jessica Garon, Kristen Cleghorn, Colin Walbridge, Haley Goldberg, Eunjin Koh and Abby Pilarski combined their talents to create a marketing campaign for the Detroit Center Connector, a new bus system launched in October to provide U of M students free transportation to the city of Detroit.
While the ad is meant to promote the bus system, it really is more than that, capturing students' desire to explore and find a sense of belonging in the city.
One of the team members tells 7 Action News that their professor even shed a tear while watching the ad.
