(WXYZ) - The US Marshalls Service says the Boston Marathon bombing suspect is now in prison.
In an official statement, spokesman Drew Wade said:
"The U.S. Marshals Service confirms that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been transported from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is now confined at the Bureau of Prisons facility FMC Devens at Ft. Devens, Mass."
This comes a day after it was revealed the Tsarnaev brother may have had more explosions planned.
According to police Dzhokhar Tsarnaev told investigators that he and his older brother were planning to set off explosives in Times Square.
The plan was thwarted when a man they were holding hostage last week after the alleged carjacking broke free and called police.
Police then intercepted the brothers and engaged them in the fire fight that left Tamerlan Tsarnaev dead.
The suspects' father is expected to be in the United State Friday to help the investigation.
