The search is on for a hit-and-run driver who slammed into a bicyclist on Detroit's west side Thursday afternoon.
If you ask him, Mitchell Dor-Ghala says he's a walking miracle right now. His bike took most of the damage.
Dor-Ghala says he rides his bike everyday to and from work. He barely has a scratch on him, after surveillance video shows him being mowed down from behind on his bike around 12:30 p.m. this afternoon.
Dor-Ghala tells us a reckless driver blindsided him near McNichols and Roselawn on the city's west side.
In a matter of seconds, he was struck while on his bike, flipping over the hood. Now the hunt is on for that driver.
Police are looking for a white Chrysler 300 or possibly a Dodge Charger. Dor-Ghala credits his helmet for cutting down on his injuries.
