(WXYZ) - A Detroit neighborhood is calling for change and an end to violence, all in honor of a slain pastor.
Residents and church leaders held vigil to remember the life of pastor Tim Kirby, who was shot and killed just outside his home along Heritage Place last month.
In addition to prayers, the group canvassed door to door to prompt neighbors to speak up with any information.
The Change Agent Consortium put on the event. The group is also raising money for pastor Kirby's children for school clothes and supplies.
