The sister of the young teen who died thanked everyone for coming and later said the family had no clue the teen was troubled.
Young friends of the 13-year-old, through tears and with their parents permission, said the same thing.
"He was fun and made people laugh and was like a brother to me, I will miss him." said Kayla Martin.
The people who came prayed and a band played taps and they released balloons in the air in memory of their friend. They lit candles and held them high in the air.
Some talked to the young people reminding them there is help if they need it and problems most often can be solved.
"I'm going to miss him," said Kayla, " I was crying when I heard what happened and I went home from school."
