(WXYZ) - Walgreens and CVS have said that they will not be selling the Rolling Stone issue with Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the cover in any of their stores nationwide.
The cover of the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone magazine, which shows a picture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, is getting mixed reviews.
The issue will be available on newsstands August 3.
Tsarnaev and his brother Tamerlan are accused of planning and carrying out the attack at the Boston Marathon in April. Three people were killed and more than 260 others were injured.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed during a shootout with police. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is currently in custody and has pleaded not guilty to 30 counts related to the bombings.
The cover photo of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is a picture he took himself.
The magazine's contributing editor, Janet Reitman, said she spent several months investigating Tsarnaev's story.
The cover reads "The Bomber: How a Popular, Promising Student Was Failed by His Family, Fell Into Radical Islam and Became a Monster."
