BIRMINGHAM (WXYZ) - Birmingham Seaholm High School, along with a connecting school, is closed today because of water damage.
At this time it's not certain what caused the problem, but it's believed freezing temperatures resulted in a burst pipe.
Temperatures dipped well below zero degrees overnight in the metro area.
Birmingham Seaholm has not made it clear just how extensive the damage is, and what steps need to be taken to fix the problem.
It is still not known if the school will be open Thursday.
