West Bloomfield police release photos of suspects in Tapper's Jewelry store heist

WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) - West Bloomfield police have released images of the three men suspected of robbing a Tapper's Jewelry store Tuesday.

The thieves came in with their faces covered. They forced the employees and customers to the floor before targeting a case of Rolex watches.

Investigators are also looking into a possible link to an attempted heist at the Medawar jewelry store near Grand Rapids that occurred a few hours earlier.

They believe the suspects and get-away vehicle have similar descriptions.

On Wednesday, police released the following descriptions:

Suspect  #1:
African American male
Full Beard
Heavy build
Dark clothing
220-230 lbs
5'10 – 6'

Suspect #2:
African American male
Medium build
Dark clothing
Black and red gloves
Bandana covering face

Suspect #3:
African American male
Medium build
Dark clothing
Back and white gloves
Bandana covering face

Vehicle Description:
Newer model van - Chrysler Town and Country, dark color.
