(WXYZ) - A woman has been charged with Second Degree Murder after she allegedly caused a fatal car crash intentionally on February 17.
Cynthia Dozier tells 7 Action News she had just broken up with her girlfriend, Pony Lee, when Lee took off in her car. Lee was traveling eastbound on Warren Road when she then called Cynthia upset and told her that she was going to intentionally crash her car because of their messy breakup.
Police say seconds later, Lee ran through a traffic light on Warren Road and hit a vehicle killing 55-year-old Patricia Nwaneri.
After the accident, we're told Lee had not been charged yet and went back to the apartment where she picked up a samurai sword and went after Cynthia and her two neighbors.
In addition to Second Degree Murder, Cynthia has also been charged with Felony Assault.
We're told Lee is currently being held without bond.
