Garden City police say they have arrested a woman wanted for robbing senior citizens in two separate incidents.

According to police, 44-year-old Amy Collier was arrested on Friday after a struggle.

It is alleged that she robbed a 72-year-old Garden City resident last week when they pulled into their garage from the grocery store. Collier allegedly walked up with to them with a knife, demanding money and a cell phone. The victim handed it over.

Police also say she robbed a 69-year-old resident on Wednesday after breaking into the victim's home.

In that incident, the victim told police that Collier demanded cash and gold, and threatened her with a pair of scissors.

The suspect then forced the woman into her basement and pepper sprayed her, told her not to move then fled.

Collier did have a felony warrant out for her arrest.
