A mother of two says she watched her father die - then painfully watched him be buried.

It happened 15-years ago - and it is still one of the hardest things she's ever had to go through -

Now, even worse, there's a heartbreaking question she wants answered - Where's her father buried?

“It’s hard. I just want to find my dad,” says Lajuana Dixton-Trice. "I'm not getting any answers that's why I reached out to you."

Let's go back 15-years to January 2001, when 37-year-old Isaac Dixton's heart failed.

"We were trying to resuscitate him… but we weren't able to. We actually felt his chest swell and we heard him take his last breathe."

Lajuana says she took it hard and went into a deep depression for years, and finally mustered up the strength earlier this month to visit her dad at his gravesite - but got a startling surprise.

She looked and looked, but couldn’t find her father’s gravesite.

She went straight to managers at the Ypsilanti cemetery.

"They told me they have no record of my father ever being there."

Lajuana does have proof - including this death certificate and paperwork from the funeral home that shows her dad was buried at Westlawn West, now known as Sunset Hills.

We went looking for answers - and at first that's what we got from someone who works at the cemetery site.

We were told the burial receipt was also needed - and that the family waited too long to contact them.

Then this bombshell, there were eight to ten unknown graves.

We've been in constant contact with managers at Sunset Hills cemetery - who vow they're going to continue to work with the family to figure out where Isaac Dixon is buried.

As for the unknown graves there, the cemetery says they want to hear from you if you had a loved buried there in 2001, so they can work to give other families closure too
