Woman desperately seeking return of stolen urns after car was stolen

(WXYZ) - A southwest Detroit woman is desperately asking for help locating the cremated remains of her parents.

They were inside urns in her 1996 White, 4-Door Chevy Blazer stolen Sunday morning right in front of her house on Pearl Street.

Enriqueta Skudlarek tells 7 Action News the vehicle was distinguishable because it had a picture of Jesus on the front fender on the passenger side.

Her two brothers, Emilio and David, passed away last year.  Her mother and father, Petra and Juan, died earlier this year.  A funeral for her last sibling, John,  was on Saturday.

He had been in hospice for some time and told her to bury him with their parents.  Skudlarek made a stolen car report with Detroit Police at the 4th Precinct.

Anyone with information can contact Detroit police.

Enriqueta is asking the thieves to return the belongings so she can do a proper burial.  She's also willing to pay a reward.
