EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- The 2016 Michigan High School Athletic Association football playoffs begin Oct. 28 and 29 with pre-districts for 11-player teams and pre-regionals for eight-player teams, the pairings of which are below.
The playoffs continue Nov. 4-5 with district finals for 11-player teams and regional finals for the 8-player teams. The regional finals for 11-player teams will be Nov. 11-12 and semifinals for 8-player teams are Nov. 12. Semifinals for the 11-player teams are scheduled for Nov. 19, and the finals are at Detroit's Ford Field on Nov. 25-26. The eight-player finals are Nov. 19 at Greenville High School.
