Porcello K's four, allows two runs in Tigers win

LAKELAND, Fla. - Rick Porcello pitched his second consecutive five-inning outing, striking out four and allowing two runs in the Detroit Tigers 4-2 win over the Toronto Blue Jays Friday.

Porcello, who is batting for the team's fifth spot in the starting rotation, gave up a home run to Andy LaRoche in the second inning.

Jhonny Peralta homered in the bottom half of the inning to get Detroit the lead back. The Tigers scored a run in each of the first three innings.

Austin Jackson went 2-for-3, scoring two runs. He hit a double and a triple, and was one of only two Tigers on the day with two hits. Prince Fielder also went 2-for-3.
