Anibal Sanchez is going to be an expensive bullpen arm.
The Tigers pitcher is going to start the season as a reliever, according to Free Press reporter Anthony Fenech.
Sanchez is due $16.8 million this season. He went 7-13 with a 5.87 ERA last year, giving up a career-high 30 home runs.
Matt Boyd seems to have positioned himself to become the Tigers fifth starter.
