DETROIT (WXYZ) - Michigan athletic director David Brandon was prepared with an answer when asked to comment about the Brendan Gibbons case.
Brandon was joined by Lions president Tom Lewand and Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany at a "Business of Sports" luncheon sponsored by WWJ at Ford Fieid.
All three of the panelists addressed the gathered crowd separately and then took a series of questions from the audience. Ranging from who the Lions might draft to if the Big Ten will ever change its name to the concept of unionization in college sports, the trio handled a wide array of queries.
Approximately midway through the question and answer session, an audience member asked Brandon to comment on how Michigan handled the sexual assault case that ultimately led to Michigan cutting ties with Gibbons.
