Brother Rice baseball coach Bob Riker was being interviewed for a story on new high school pitching rules, when another topic popped up.
Riker explained why he cut WXYZ's Brad Galli from the varsity team back in high school.
"He's a good guy," he said.
Give the guy credit, Riker knew talent when he saw it. At the same time he cut Brad, he coached future MLB All-Star and batting champion DJ LeMahieu.
