ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) -- Michigan announced Thursday that its season opener against Florida on September 2 will be carried nationally by ABC.

The game, part of the Advocare Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, is scheduled to kick off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time.

In the last meeting between the teams, Michigan beat Florida 41-7 in the 2016 Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.

This will be Michigan's second appearance in the Advocare Classic. The Wolverines opened the 2012 season against Alabama at AT&T Stadium.

Kickoff times and television information for the second and third weeks of the season will be released by the Big Ten in the coming weeks.
