Thursday, April 4

The four head coaches of the teams playing in the Final Four will meet the media to talk about Saturday's matchups. Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim holds his media session at 12:30, followed by Michigan head coach John Beilein.

The Associated Press will hold a news conference at 4pm to announce the coach and player of the year.  Michigan point guard Trey Burke is the odds-on favorite to be named player of the year.

Brad Galli will have live reports on Action News at 5, 6 and 7.

Thursday night, two local athletes will participate in the Three-Point Shootout and the Slam Dunk Championship at Georgia Tech.

Michigan's Kate Thompson will compete in the women's three-point competition and Detroit's Doug Anderson will compete in the slam dunk competition. 

Brad will have reaction from Kate and Doug on Action News at 11.


Friday, April 5

The Oscar Robertson Trophy Player of the Year will be announced at 9:15.  Trey Burke is among the finalists.

At 10:10, the NCAA will celebrate 75 years of March Madness by naming the top ten players in NCAA Tournament history.  We expect Magic Johnson to be in that group. 

Each of the four teams playing on Saturday will hold an open practice at the Georgia Dome, free for all fans. 

Syracuse will take the floor at 2pm and Michigan will follow at 3pm. 

The Michigan Alumni Association has planned at 6pm pep rally at the Wolverines hotel, the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly.   For more information on the pep rally - CLICK HERE

Brad will be live on Action News at 5, 6 and 7 and will wrap up all the days activities on Action News at 11.
 

Saturday, April 6

Tom Leyden will join Brad in Atlanta for Game Day.  Tom and Brad will be live on Action News at 6, providing a final preview of the Wolverines matchup with Syracuse.

The game is scheduled to tip at approximately 8:49, or 40 minutes after the game between Wichita State and Louisville ends. 


Sunday, April 7

We'll update the rest of the schedule if Michigan wins on Saturday night, but we have BIG PLANS if Michigan advances to Monday's championship game.
