BLOG RECAP: Lions playoff hopes bleak after overtime loss

DETROIT (AP) - It was a game filled with enough up's and down's to last a full season. The Texans beat the Lions, 34-31 in overtime, putting Detroit's playoff hopes in the "bleak" category.

The Lions have now lost ten of their last 11 Thanksgiving Day games, last winning on Turkey Day in 2003.

Shane Graham's kick barely sneaks through, giving the Lions playoff hopes a bleak chance. Texans win 34-31.

The craziness continues. Houston to Houston. Chris Houston intercepts Matt Schaub's pass. Detroit has to give Hanson a chance to hit one here.
