ONE PRIDE BLUE OUT: Detroit Lions encourage everyone to wear Honolulu blue on Monday, December 16

DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Detroit Lions want you to take part in the "Blue Out" on Monday, December 16 to show support for the team ahead of the Monday night football game which airs on Channel 7.

The organization is asking everyone to wear Honolulu blue whether they are at home, in the office or at school.

WXYZ-TV will bring you all the action on December 16 as the Lions take on the Baltimore Ravens. Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. with the Monday Motown Showdown special. That will be followed by ESPN's Monday Night Football game which will air live on channel 7.

7 Action News anchors Stephen Clark and Carolyn Clifford will host the two-hour pregame special live from Ford Field.

The Ford Lions Report LIVE team with 7 Action Sports anchor Tom Leyden; former Lions tight end and NFL commentator Rob Rubick; and Lions great Herman Moore, will provide key commentary and analysis.

NFL analyst Matt Shepard and Lions hall-of-famer Charlie Sanders will be on the field with up-to-the-minute action.

The special will also feature interviews with key Lions players and coaches, local celebrities and former Lions favorites.
