Calvin Johnson questionable; Lions safeties Delmas, Spievey out

ALLEN PARK, Mich. - Moments after announcing running back Jahvid Best would officially miss the entire season with concussion problems, the Detroit Lions released the injury report for Sunday's game against Jacksonville.

Wide receiver Calvin Johnson is listed as questionable after missing three days of practice with a nagging knee problem.

"He's done it before," head coach Jim Schwartz said of Johnson's ability to play Sunday without practicing.

"He obviously knows our offense, and then his health is the most important thing. But yeah, any time your players aren't out there it's definitely a concern. An ideal situation is to go practice every day, but by the time you get to the middle of a NFL season, nothing's ideal."

Safeties Louis Delmas (knee) and Amari Spievey (concussion) are both listed as out for Sunday's game.

Linebacker DeAndre Levy participated in part of Friday's practice, but is also questionable with a hamstring problem.

Defensive end Cliff Avril (back) returned to practice Friday and is probable for Sunday. So too are linebacker Justin Durant (quad), cornerback Jacob Lacey (concussion), tight end Brandon Pettigrew (knee), linebacker Stephen Tulloch (knee), Corey Williams (knee), wide receiver Titus Young (knee).
