Detroit Lions sign draft picks to contracts

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) - The Lions announced that they have signed first-round draft pick Ezekiel Ansah to a five-year contract. Detroit also signed its other draft picks to four-year contracts.

Additional terms weren't disclosed.

The Lions selected Darius Slay, a 6-0, 192-pound Mississippi State cornerback, with the fourth pick of the second round, the 36th pick overall.

They also signed Kentucky offensive guard Larry Warford, who was taken in the third round with the 65th overall pick.

Other players signed are South Carolina defensive end Devin Taylor, Appalachian State punter Sam Martin, Virginia Tech wide receiver Corey Fuller, Notre Dame running back Theo Riddick, Alabama tight end Michael Williams and Florida A&M linebacker Brandon Hepburn.
