SEATTLE (WXYZ) - Reggie Rogers, drafted by the Lions in the first round of the 1987 draft, was found dead at his home in Washington Thursday,
ABC affiliate KOMO
reported Rogers death on its web site, noting Rogers was recently charged with domestic violence assault.
Rogers career in the NFL was sidetracked by numerous run-ins with the law, including a vehicular homicide conviction after he killed three teenagers while driving drunk in 1988.
He spent 16 months in prison for that offense.
Rogers was 49 years old.
