BLOG RECAP: Lions look for win at Lambeau

11:37 pm The Lions failed to convert the onside kick and Green Bay wins 27-20.

11:35 pm Jason Hanson hit a 37 yard field goal to close the gap to 27-20. There are 7 seconds remaining.

11:29 pm At the two minute warning Detroit will get the ball back but is losing 27-17 with no time outs remaining.

11:21 pm The Lions drove to midfield but the drive stalled. On 4th down and 10, the ball was nearly intercepted at the 18 yard line. Detroit trails 27-17 with 2:26 remaining in the game.

11:12 pm Mason Crosby hit a 41 yard field goal to put Green Bay up by 10 (27-17) with 4:02 remaining in the game.

11:03 pm After the Packers touchdown, the Lions drive stalled and they were forced to punt back to Green Bay. The Packers lead 24-17 with 7:04 left in the game.

10:48 pm DuJuan Harris carried the ball in from 14 yards out to give Green Bay the 24-17 lead. There is 10:45 remaining in the game.

10:51 pm Jason Hanson missed a 51 yard field goal, that would have put the Lions ahead. The kick was just short. Green Bay takes over possession.

10:40 pm The Lions and Packers are locked in a tight battle. Heading into the fourth quarter, the score is tied at 17.

10:35 pm Nick Fairley had a sack on third down that cost the Packers 8 yards, forcing them to attempt a 52 yard field goal that Mason Crosby missed. Detroit takes over possession with 3:24 left in the third quarter.

10:30 pm The Lions and Packers have traded possessions after the Hanson field goal to keep the game knotted at 17. 4:26 is remaining in the third quarter.

10:16 pm Jason Hanson hit a 46-yard field goal to tie the game at 17. Green Bay was called for a personal foul on the drive, helping Detroit drive down the field. There is 8:57 left in the third.

10:07 pm Aaron Rodgers ran the ball in from 27 yards out for Green Bay to take the lead 17-14 with 11:54 remaining in the third quarter. Green Bay was helped out on the drive by a roughing the passer penalty called against Ndamukong Suh. The Packers have now scored 17 consecutive points.

9:45 pm At the half, Detroit leads Green Bay 14-10. Detroit dominated the first half, out gaining Green Bay 218-94 but Green Bay was aided by two Detroit turnovers.

9:34 pm Sam Shields intercepted a Matthew Stafford pass intended for Kris Durham. There appeared to be miscommunication between the two on the pass. Green Bay takes over possession at their own 45 yard line. Detroit leads 14-10 with 2:24 left in the first half.

9:25 pm After driving to midfield, Matthew Stafford fumbled the ball and couldn't recover it. Mike Daniels returned the fumble 43 yards for the Green Bay touchdown. Detroit still leads 14-10 with 6:15 remaining in the first half.

9:14 pm Mason Crosby hit a 49-yard field goal to close the gap to 14-3 with 10:52 left in the first half. On 3rd and 6 Aaron Rodger was pressured by Ndamukong Suh and Cliff Avril to force the incompletion.

9:05 pm Tony Scheffler caught a 2 yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to put the Lions ahead 14-0 early in the second quarter. Kris Durham had a spectacular one-handed catch for Detroit earlier in the drive.

9:00 pm At the end of the first quarter, Detroit leads Green Bay 7-0. Detroit dominated the first quarter, possessing the ball for nearly 11 minutes.

8:52 pm Lawrence Jackson forced an Aaron Rodgers fumble at the Detroit 13-yard line and Stephen Tulloch recovered the fumble at the Detroit 21-yard line. Detroit takes over possession leading 7-0 with 3:35 remaining in the first quarter.

8:42 pm Matthew Stafford led the Lions on an 80 yard touchdown drive to start the game, ending the drive with a 4-yard touchdown run on 4th-and-inches. Detroit leads Green Bay 7-0 with 7:16 remaining in the first quarter.

8:24 p.m. Louis Delmas and Corey Williams are both inactive for the Lions. Nick Fairley will start again for Detroit.
