GAME LOG: Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears face off in a Chi-Town Showdown

(WXYZ) - The Detroit Lions are ready for a showdown in Chi-Town against the 4 - 1 Bears.

The Lions are 2 and 3 on the year and 1 and 2 on the road. They're also sitting at the bottom of the NFC North, while "Da Bears" are looking to continue their dominance atop the North.

Both teams come in to tonight's game following victories. The Bears have won three in a row, while the Lions are looking to piece together their first winning streak of the season after beating the Philadelphia Eagles on the road and in overtime last week.


11:52 p.m. The Bears recover the onside kick and that will do it. The Lions will lose this one 13 - 7.

11:49 p.m. It may be too little to late, but Stafford connects with Ryan Broyles in the end zone for the touchdown. It's 13 - 7 Bears with :30 left.

11:37 p.m. It's that kind of night. Matthew Stafford is picked up on fourth and goal with 2:39 left and after three incomplete passes.

11:33 p.m. The review finds the ball hit the ground before being caught. Lions keep the ball.

11:30 p.m. A possible interception off of Matthew Stafford is being reviewed late in the fourth quarter.

11:03 p.m. And that's it for the third quarter. The Lions are going to need to come back in the fourth, they're down 13 - 0. 

10:49 p.m. Just when you think it can't get any worse for the Lions, Joique Bell tries to punch it in by flying over the Bears on the goal line and fumbles the ball away! 

10:33 p.m. The Detroit defense stands strong after the turnover and holds the Bears to a field goal. It's now a 13 - 0 lead for Chicago.

10:29 p.m. The Detroit defense comes up with a big 3 and out to start the second half, but Stefan Logan muffs the punt and turns it over to the Bears deep in Lions territory. 

10:11 p.m. And that's it for the first half. As they head to the locker room it's still a 10 - 0 Chicago lead.

10:06 p.m. The Lions offense finally gets on track ... until Mikel Leshoure fumbles it away in the red zone with 1:22 left in the first half. That makes it six punts and a fumble for the Lions in the first half.

9:42 p.m. The Bears march it down the field after being pinned in their own end zone, but they can't get any points out of it as the Lions block the field goal attempt. It's still a 10 - 0 Bears lead.

9:22 p.m. It's been all Chicago as the 1st quarter comes to an end. They've got the ball and a 10 - 0 lead.

9:17 p.m. The Bears add a field goal as the Lions offense can't seem to get on track in the 1st quarter. It's 10 - 0 Chicago.

8:47 p.m. After a Detroit 3 and out the Bears march it down the field, with Jay Cutler and Matt Forte picking apart the Lions defense. It's 7 - 0 Chicago.

8:32 p.m. We're just minutes away from kickoff!
