Lions agree to terms with DeAndre Levy

According to the team's official web site, the Lions have agreed to a three-year deal with linebacker DeAndre Levy.

Levy, originally drafted by the Lions in 2009, played in 14 games last season, compiling 81 tackles and recovering one fumble and intercepting a pass.

Levy has forced three fumbles during his four seasons with the Lions.  His best season was 2011, when he posted 109 tackles in 16 games.

Stephen Tulloch was signed to a long-term deal last year.  The signing of Levy assures that two of last year's starters will return in 2013.

The signing of Levy brings to the forefront the issue of whether the Lions will sign free agent linebacker Justin Durant, who has spent the last two seasons in Detroit.
