Lions cut Braylon Broughton after just two days

DETROIT (WXYZ) - According to reports, defensive end Braylon Broughton was picked up off of waivers by the Lions on Tuesday. Broughton's tenure in the Motor City did not last long as he was released after two days.

After spending last season on the New Orleans Saint's practice squad, the former Texas Christian University star went undrafted as a rookie last year before being signed by the Saints.

With the defensive end being released, the Lions now have 89 players and have room for one more on their roster.
