ALLEN PARK - A week after Ndamukong Suh was fined $100,000 by the NFL, he was the target of an opposing lineman's dive at his knees.
"It happens all the time. It's not going to stop," Suh said Wednesday. "I look forward to it. Look forward to keep making plays down the field. That's my job. To me, it's just gnats that are in the air that keep going after you and you swat at them.
"Sometimes you hit them, sometimes you don't. Sometimes they run away. Sometimes they come back again."
During the Cardinals final drive in Sunday's game, Arizona guard Paul Fanaika lunged for Suh's legs as the play wound down. Fanaika did not get called for a penalty and did not receive any punishment from the NFL.
Lions head coach Jim Schwartz noted that type of hit is legal for an offensive lineman but still dangerous.
