Lions enter agreement with Veritix to be exclusive primary ticketing provider

DETROIT – The Detroit Lions announced today that Veritix will be their new exclusive primary ticketing provider. Veritix will provide primary ticketing services for all organizational events and secondary ticketing services for non-football events through Flash Seats, their digital ticketing system.
 
The team's new ticketing system will be in place when single-game tickets for 2013 Detroit Lions preseason and regular season games at Ford Field go on sale Wednesday, July 31 at 10 AM ET. Tickets will be available at exclusively at Detroitlions.com/tickets or by calling 877-212-8898. Fans can also purchase tickets for Lions 2013 home games in person at the Ford Field Ticket Office Monday through Friday between 10 AM and 6 PM.
 
Flash Seats will be available as a digital entry method and will allow fans for both Detroit Lions games and Ford Field events to enter with a digital ID such as a credit card or driver's license. Tickets will also be fully transferable giving fans the flexibility to share tickets with just a click of the button.

The Detroit Lions become the first NFL team to use the Veritix platform and will now have a single, end-to-end system to manage their ticketing operations, including primary sales for all stadium events and secondary sales for non-football events, paper and digital tickets, relationship management, and data analysis.
