Lions make four additional roster cuts

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - The Lions announced the release of four players on Sunday: defensive end Ronnell Lewis, cornerback Myron Lewis, safety Chris Hope, and wide receiver Cody Wilson.

Ronnell Lewis was a fourth-round draft pick by the Lions in 2012. He recorded four tackles and a sack over the course of Detroit's three preseason games.

Myron Lewis made two tackles in the preseason, while Chris Hope tallied six tackles.

Wilson, an undrafted rookie from Central Michigan, had one catch for six yards.

The team will need to cut five additional players before Tuesday's deadline to reach the league-mandated 75-man roster.
