Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles done for season with torn ACL

ALLEN PARK - Lions head coach Jim Schwartz announced wide receiver Ryan Broyles will miss the rest of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

Broyles tore the ACL in his left knee during his senior season at Oklahoma and returned in time for training camp in July.

Broyles appeared to be having his right knee worked on midway through the first quarter on the sideline. The rookie has become increasingly important to the Lions with Titus Young having fallen out of favor.

Schwartz also announced that Titus Young will not be in the mix at the wide receiver position this week because he did not take full advantage of the opportunity that was extended to him last week to rejoin the team and work himself back into the mix.
