ALLEN PARK, Mich. - The NFL has notified the Detroit Lions that Ndamukong Suh will not be suspended for his actions during the team's Thanksgiving loss to the Houston Texans.
League Spokesman Greg Aiello posted the notice on his Twitter account.
The tweet said Suh could still face a fine, as the league is reviewing the incident.
Suh's left cleat connected with Schaub's groin area in the Lions 34-31 loss to the Texans.
It wasn't clear on replays Thursday whether the contact was intentional. Suh was on his chest, taken down by an offensive lineman, when he extended his left foot below Schaub's belt.
Schaub talked with a radio station in Houston Monday, calling Suh "not Houston Texan worthy." For the audio of his time on SportsRadio 610, click here.
Aiello told 7 Action News there are no meetings with Suh or Lions head coach Jim Schwartz scheduled this week. Fines and notices will go on with business as usual, publicly being announced Friday.
