ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - The Lions released running back Mikel Leshoure Saturday, leaving defensive end Nick Fairley as their lone remaining 2011 draft pick.
In two seasons with the Lions, Leshoure rushed for 807 yards and nine touchdowns on 217 carries. In four preseason games this season, Leshoure rushed for 116 yards on 30 carries.
The Lions also released wide receiver Kris Durham, who caught 46 passes for 615 yards and three touchdowns over the past two seasons. In the 2014 preseason, Durham caught four passes for 17 yards and a touchdown.
