ALLEN PARK, Mich. - Reggie Bush was not on the field Thursday, as the Lions practiced without their starting running back for the second straight day.
After injuring his knee in the team's loss to Arizona on Sunday, Bush has been missing in action this week.
Jim Schwartz said earlier this week there is no structural damage to Bush's knee. A report from Pro Football Talk on Wednesday said there was a '50-50 chance' Bush would play against Washington.
Joique Bell, Theo Riddick, and Mikel Leshoure are the next men up on the depth chart.
Bell has maintained all week he has no idea if Bush will play, but if he starts in his place, he'll be ready.
Safety Don Carey (hamstring), wide receiver Patrick Edwards (ankle), tackle Jason Fox (groin), and linebacker Ashlee Palmer (ankle) also sat out the portion of practice open to the media.
Louis Delmas and Nick Fairley both practiced.
