REPORT: Fords are reviewing status of Lions Head Coach Jim Schwartz

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - Is Detroit Lions Head Coach Jim Schwartz's job on the line?

ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Ford family is reviewing Schwartz's status because they are unhappy with "a tattered team culture" that has existed under him.

The report cites "league sources" and says William Clay Ford and Bill Ford Jr. are not happy with the issues about the team's image and Schwartz's management style.

It also says the Fords' issues date back to incidents that happened during last year's Lions' playoff season.

After that season Schwartz was given a contract extension that runs through 2015.
