Titus Young taunts Lions management in newest tweets
9:56 AM, Jan 25, 2013
(WXYZ) - Earlier this week, Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young took to Twitter to demand the ball more – or else "I don't want to play anymore."
Head coach Jim Schwartz responded by calling his public outburst a "not-so-good" way of looking for more involvement in the offense.
Today, Young is taking things to a new level of "not-so-good."
The troubled wide receiver posted the following messages to his account:
"Oh I'm not done, if y'all going to cut me let me go. I'm tired of the threats."
"Never needed the money Give me a dollar and a ball bet I come back #HallofFame"
Young was sent home from the Lions three times last year. In the offseason, he sucker-punched teammate Louis Delmas, and during the season, was sent home two times for behavior issues.
Schwartz was quoted Wednesday saying, "We obviously still got some ground to cover there," regarding Young's maturity. The team has kept him on the roster, and at the end of the season, a plan was put in place to help Young.
In his latest tweets, he is clearly taunting the Lions management, who used a second round pick to draft him in 2011.
