SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) - Sundays will be super on 7 this fall as WXYZ will deliver the most comprehensive coverage of college, pro and high school football in the region.
Starting Sunday, Aug. 31, the Suburban Ford 7 Sports Cave will move to 10:30 and shift its focus to college football. Brad Galli will host the program.
We will welcome two new guests to our rotating panel of analysts. Former Michigan wide receiver Braylon Edwards and former Michigan State wide receiver Keith Nichol will regularly appear on the 7 Sports Cave.
Their knowledge of the Wolverines and Spartans will be put to good use as we dissect what happened on the field the previous day.
Nichol will make his 7 Sports Cave debut on Aug. 31 along with Galli and Matt Dery from 105.1 FM.
Edwards will make his debut when he joins Nichol and Galli on Sunday, Sept. 7.
The Emmy award-winning Lions GameDay Live will assume it's usual spot in the lineup at 11 a.m. each Sunday morning starting Sept. 7.
The Official Pre-Game Show of the Lions will be hosted by Tom Leyden. Rob Rubick and Herman Moore are back as analysts, with Matt Shepard reporting from the Lions sideline every week.
Lions head coach Jim Caldwell and Lions safety James Ihedigbo will have regular segments on the show, which will feature the best images from NFL Films and a Wired For Sound segment that will take viewers behind the scenes each week.
DetroitLions.com lead writer Tim Twentyman will contribute to the show, along with Pro Football Hall of Famer Charlie Sanders, Lions sideline reporter Tony Ortiz and DetroitLions.com reporter Tori Petry
David Solano and Justin Rose, who joins the 7 Sports team just before the season-opener, will go head to head each week in fantasy football, providing last-minute tips for fans.
The Emmy award-winning State Champs! team joins the WXYZ family on Sunday, Aug. 31 with the debut episode of State Champs! Extra Point.
The 30-minute program will showcase highlights and features from the best high school games in Metro Detroit.
Hosted by Lorne Plant, State Champs! Extra Point will also include contributions from longtime high school football writer Tom Markowski and former Brother Rice head coach Al Fracassa.

Each week, immediately following the conclusion of the Lions game, Lions PostGame Live will air on WMYD - Channel 20 and DetroitLions.com.
Tom Leyden and Rob Rubick will be joined by Tori Petry as they analyze the game and bring you post game reaction from the players and head coach Jim Caldwell.
