Ziggy Ansah listed as probable for Lions' season opener

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) - The Detroit Lions report that rookie defensive end Ziggy Ansah participated Friday in a full practice as the team prepares for Sunday's season opener against the Minnesota Vikings at Ford Field.

Ansah, the No. 5 pick in this year's draft, has been recovering from a concussion.

He did not travel for the team's preseason finale at Buffalo last week. He was believed to have hurt his head after colliding with a teammate in practice Aug. 24.

The team says Ansah, safety Louis Delmas and defensive end Jason Jones are probable for Sunday's game.
