Ziggy Ansah returns to work at Lions practice

ALLEN PARK, Mich. - Ziggy Watch got a welcomed new chapter Thursday.

The Lions rookie defensive end returned to work at the team's practice for the first time since August 24.

Ansah suffered a concussion during that practice, and hasn't gone through workouts since. Wednesday, he ran through light sprints with trainers.

During the portion of practice open to the media, Ansah fully participated in all of the defensive line drills.

It's a good sign for Sunday's game against the Vikings. If Ansah is cleared to play, he would almost certainly start at defensive end.

If he can't go, Willie Young would be his replacement.
