(WXYZ) - Titus Young missed his court date in Orange County Monday morning for "personal reasons."
The former Detroit Lions wide reciever's attorney, Altus Hudson II, said Young is suffering from concussion symptoms and is undergoing psychiatric treatment.
A judge issued a bench warrant for Young's arrest, which allows Young to remain free unless he misses his pre-trial hearing July 2.
After being released by the Lions, and then again by the St. Louis Rams, Young was arrested three times in a week during May. He faces 11 charges, including burglary, assaulting a police officer, and resisting arrest.
Young's no-show was not a surprise for Hudson, who believes the wide receiver's decision-making was affected by his concussion problems.
