(WXYZ) - Brandon Gibbons can thank Drew Dileo for assisting in a game-saving moment Saturday night.
He can also thank Dileo for assisting in earning the kicker the Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week honor.
Gibbons, who was a perfect four-for-four on field goal attempts, helped Michigan beat Northwestern 27-19 in triple overtime Saturday.
As time expired in the fourth quarter, Dileo came from the sideline to slide in for the hold. Gibbons had a half second to step back, then forward, and nail a 44-yarder to tie the game.
The award is the second of his career. He also won it October 22, 2012.
